Important Policies

Attendance

Students must attend all scheduled classes. Absences must be reported by a parent or guardian by 8:00 AM. Unverified absences become unexcused after 3 days. Students with more than 10% absences may face academic consequences.

Cell Phone Policy

Cell phones must be silenced and put away during all instructional periods. Students may use phones before school, at brunch, during lunch, and after school. Devices used during class may be confiscated and held for parent pick-up.

Dress Code

Bayview High does not require a uniform but expects students to dress appropriately for an academic setting. Clothing with offensive language, images, or symbols is not permitted. Hats may be worn on campus but removed indoors.

Technology & Chromebooks

All students are issued a school Chromebook for academic use. Devices must be charged and brought to school daily. Damage or loss must be reported immediately. Students are responsible for appropriate use per the District Acceptable Use Policy.
