At Bayview High, school is more than academics. It’s where you discover who you are. With over 40 clubs, a thriving arts scene, championship sports, and traditions that stretch back over 60 years, there is truly a place here for everyone.
🎉 Signature Traditions & Events
🍂 Homecoming Week — October
The biggest week of the year. Spirit days, themed dress-up days, the annual Homecoming Parade down Bayview Drive, and the Friday night football game against our biggest rival — all leading up to the Homecoming Dance on Saturday night.
🏭 Winter Formal — December
Held at an off-campus venue, Winter Formal is open to all Bayview students. Dress to impress — it’s one of the most anticipated nights of the school year.
🎶 Spring Musical — April
The Drama Department’s annual production draws hundreds of audience members each year. Past shows include Les Misérables, Mamma Mia!, and Hamilton. This year: Into the Woods, April 18–20.
🎉 Junior/Senior Prom — May
Held at the Grand Bayview Hotel, Prom is a night to remember. Juniors and Seniors celebrate together in what many call the highlight of their high school experience.
🎓 Senior Week — June
The final week of the school year for seniors includes Senior Class Day, the awards ceremony, and culminates in the Graduation Ceremony at the Bayview Sports Arena.

Being a Bayview Bee means being part of something bigger than yourself. Our navy blue and gold colors represent excellence, loyalty, and community. Whether you’re cheering in the student section on a Friday night or representing BHS at a debate tournament across the state, you carry the Bees tradition with you.

Mascot: The Bayview Bee — chosen by students in 1963 as a symbol of industriousness and unity.
